2nd time lucky for the Lionel Bowen Young Writers’ Award 2014

I am very happy to announce that I have come 3nd this year for the Randwick City Lionel Bowen Young Writers’ Award 2014. This is the second time I have placed in this prestigious competition against hundreds of great young writers. I blogged my prior success in 2012.

This year as soon as we got home from the award ceremony, my little sister Ruby started blogging the great night and all the people we met.

It was a busy time as school so I was actually happy that Ruby beat me to the blog! Here it is

Congratulations Eve, on your success with “Where the Land Meets the Sea”! Perhaps you can reveal the hidden shock in your poem!
It’s so heartening that so many children entered the competition. Well done to every one.

    Cheers,
    Stephanie
