After MH370, when will they listen to Captain De Crespigny’s warning?

“They are going to have to rethink the logic of how they keep the flight recorder going.”

Captain De Crespigny’s prophetic warning 2 years before MH 370.
(See  5:02 in above YouTube video)

I interviewed Australia’s most famous pilot, Captain Richard De Crespigny 2 years ago in 2012. In that youtube interview he said that the Black Box needed rethinking. He discovered this when his QF32 incident was investigated and he realised that there was a flaw in the design of the Black Box. Since the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) his Airbus A380 had the standard 2 hour loop, the important part of the conversations were lost. They discovered it had been overwriting itself while the engine was running for another 3 hours on the runway.

So if they find Malaysia’s Boeing 777 Black Box, the information on it will be underwhelming. The plane apparently travelled for seven hours, so the important first hour of the flight will have been overwritten again. If it was my theory, hypoxia that led to a zombie plane, (where all the crew and passengers became unconscious as the plane gained altitude, like the Greek Helios Airways Flight 522 in 2005), the last 2 hours will be completely silent!

How many more disasters until we fix the Black Box?
